Jermaine "Chef Raw" Rawlings found his passion for the culinary arts after graduating with his Bachelors degree in Finance from Bowie State University (Bowie, MD) and moving to Los Angeles, CA to pursue a career as an Officer in the U.S. Air Force. Lamenting the flavor of his grandmother's macaroni and cheese, and finding it difficult to find good Caribbean food on the west coast, Chef Raw took things into his own hands and developed his culinary gifts. After serving five years in the U.S Air Force, Chef Raw separated and pursued his Masters of Business from USC's Marshall School of Business. While attending USC, Chef Raw beat out over 40,000 people across the country and was selected as one of the top 100 in one of America's favorite televised competitions for amateur cooks. While Chef Raw has no "formal" culinary training, he exhibits true "Raw" talent and has worked over the years to perfect his craft. He combines food, fun and creativity together to ensure that your experience is exciting and enjoyable for all!
